Tissue Balls are in!

What a lovely weekend here in White Rock! January always seems to be uber dreary around these parts, but I do love the glimpses of sun that we get in February... reminds me that winter is almost over... and it will indeed get sunny again! Yay for that.


And another big YAY to new products at poppies! I'm excited to announce that we now have the tissue balls over here in our north america shop... WOOHOO! I've been long awaiting the arrival of these little babies. Super cute. We have 3 sizes (5", 8" & 12") and they come in 13 different colours... think mint, cerise, turquoise, lavender... I can't help but smile when I look at them:) I'm already plotting which party I can use these for... might just have to invent one:)

Hello again!

Has it been that long since my last blog post? Oh dear... I do need to work on this. I do promise to try REALLY hard!! They say it takes 21 days to make a habit... so for the next 21 days... or we'll start with once a week:)

I've spent the last 3 weeks in beautiful california... Irvine to be exact. Did you know Irvine was rated the safest city in California to raise a family?? Actually, I don't know if that's true, but I heard it once and I'm sticking with it! It is gorgeous here. 10 minutes from Laguna Beach, a 5 minute walk from ferris wheels and carousels (at a mall!!!) and 15 sweet minutes away from the mecca of everything... I'm talking about Disneyland of course:) It just never gets old. Well maybe the lineups... though I even have a few hilarious lineup stories. All about the journey I suppose:)

I'm happy to see fall visit the south too. I went for my morning walk to the coffee bean & tea leaf and noticed that even the bougainvillea had turned from hot pink to orange. It's so neat that the seasons hit everywhere. Just love it!

Poppies has been busy on the blogs too! In case you missed it please check out some guest appearances on some of our absolutely FAVORITE blogs... Oh Joy!, creature comforts, 100 layer cake, oh hello friend, oh so beautiful paper and poppytalk. Also, I can't help but mention a foreign shout from lilica tigor (I can't understand a word, but A-DORABLE!).

New goodies have arrived!

Good morning all! Well, I  have some exciting news today... all of our new goodies have arrived!

When Alana and Sara told me they had some new stock to send over I was excited... but when I saw the new product photos I was absolutely giddy! I picked up everything last Friday and opening each box was literally like being in a candy shop for me.

sneak peek...

It's friday, friday and I am pumped for this weekend. I plan to take full advantage of the sun and head up to Cultus Lake with the fam... LOVE it there and all the memories:)


Also, I'm UBER excited because we are closer to a very exciting week at Poppies! Next week we get our newest shipment in from Alana & Sara. They sent me pics this week and I can barely contain myself... the new products are just stunning! Isn't paper fun?? The shop will be full of the new goodies next week and I can't wait to share the pics with you all.
